An excellent example both inside and out. this car was built for luxury and special occasions. The vehicle has been very well kept by the previous owner, leaving only minor work to do. The chassis and undercarriage are both rust free and in very good condition. The 2510cc straight 6 cylinder petrol engine was also taken care of having been fitted it with new plugs, the starter reconditioned and the dynamo is currently undergoing the same. The gearbox has no issues when going through the gears, steering is as good as any car of its age. The interior is in extremely good condition with no tears, wearing etc. The dash is all original along with the rest of the interior, all dials in working order with 70541 miles. The bodywork has some small chips and scratches but when polished are hardly noticeable. Scratch on front left wheel arch and rear driver-side door chip are the only two that can be seen (easily fixed). Chrome work has small rust spots on bumpers. The previous owner removed the sliding roof and filled it, not doing the greatest of welding in the process. It is unfortunate that this is the only down-side of this beautiful car but, again, a fixable problem. This is an Austin with style and luxury to spare, and an increasingly hard car to find. Estimate £6500-£7500
