Diamond Arms was trade name used by the Shapleigh Hardware. Co. of St. Louis, MO. for shotguns they sold. They didn't make them but had them made by other companies, most likely Crescent Arms, Co. of CT, who where the largest makers of "hardware store" shotguns of the time
