One of 678 produced for the 1970 model year. This factory-produced and documented Buick GSX was ordered new by Devore Motors of Centerville, IA. It was the recipient of a professional comprehensive restoration done to high standards. The body is finished in original Saturn Yellow, done in a two-stage base coat/clear that was color-sanded and polished to a mirror-like shine with excellent panel gap and fitment. It features a high-quality restored black interior. It is powered by a factory-rated 360hp and 510 ft/lbs of torque date-code-correct 455ci high-performance V8 engine and backed to an optional 3-speed HD Turbo 400 Hydramatic M40 transmission, with a performance axle 3.42 posi-traction rear end. Aside from the GSX option, it is complemented with a list of factory selections that include the Rally Ride control package, factory air conditioning, bucket seats, floor console shifter, power steering, power front disc brakes, instrument gauge package with hood tach, Sonomatic radio and tinted glass and is also a factory demonstrator model. This GSX has had long-term ownership, with just two owners from 1979 through 2019.
