Made by Colt in 1962 in limited quantities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of New Mexico being admitted as the 47th State of the United States Based on a Colt Frontier Scout revolver. This sequential pair are laid in Colt presentation boxes finished in a unique orange-red color., lined with yellow satin material. 4.75" barrels are richly blued with gold ejector, cylinder, grip frame, and trigger. Admitted in 1912, New Mexico was one of the last States to officially be admitted. Only a 1000 made.*C&R Eligible Condition: 99%, guns have only the faints handling marks. Gold areas have some dried polish, seems to come off with only a little effort. Interior of boxes are excellent. Exterior of boxes show storage wear, one has scratch/split
