Beautiful arrangement of an ancient Egyptian / Roman glass beaded necklace (museum exhibited) includes blue glass beads, silver wash colored small beads, 1 stone bead & small blue faience beads with newer gold clasp at each end. DATE: Overall 300 BCE - 300 AD SIZE: 12 1/2"long (32cm) Central bead 1/2"dia, (1.2cm) small beads 1/4" CONDITION: Excellent, all in tact, no chips, cracks or repairs EXHIBITED: Metropolitan Museum NY 1920-38 , Fine Art Museum Boston, 1945-60 Museum of Man California 1968 #M321. All copies of museum paperwork included PROVENANCE: Goddard & Josephine Dubois Collection, acq. Egypt 1900-07
