Fantastic carved leather Binder by noted artist, the late Bob Dellis, (1928-2002), 12" x 10 1/2", floral carved with kangaroo wrapped edges and "Edward H. Bohlin" marked, engraved sterling Buckle Set. Bob Dellis began working as a professional carver in 1947. He was hired by Porters in Phoenix when he was 19 years of age working with another youngster who was destined to become a famous carver named Ray Pohja. Bob also worked with other great carvers like Ellis Bares and F.O. Baird and in some of the great old saddle shops including Miles City Saddlery and Visalia Stock Saddle Company. Bob was one of the last carvers / saddle makers who traveled extensively refining his skills by working with expert craftsmen throughout the west. His work has been pictured in "The Cowboy Boot Book", "Art of the Boot", and the "Cowboy Boot Calendar". His detailed carving graced the tops of many exquisite Dave Little boots, he taught individuals and group seminars including an appearance at the "Gathering of the Masters" in Sheridan, WYO. in 1999. Bob Dellis did work for Clayton Moore (the Lone Ranger), Herb Jeffries (the only black singing cowboy of the 1940s) and President George W. Bush. Dan Hardesty Estate.

1.FIREARMS:
I understand that all firearms bought at A&S Auction, must be thoroughly inspected by a professional gunsmith to determine caliber and condition of the firearm, prior to firing. By registering to bid at this auction I agree with and understand all the terms and conditions stated above. We will not transfer to a Curio & Relic license (C&R) NO EXCEPTIONS. We will only ship to a FFL holder.
2. All persons attending the exhibition, sale, or removal of merchandise assume all risks of damage to person or property and specifically release and indemnify A&S Auction from any liability.
3. All property is sold “AS IS”, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Property is open to thorough public inspection. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. A&S Auction may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall A&S Auction be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.
4. All internet Bidders agree to pay an internet premium equal to 15% of the hammer price of each item they purchase.
5. Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the live auction or preview understand and
acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. A&S Auction shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it. A&S Auction will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase for any reason.
6. A&S Auction is providing internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against A&S Auction or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. A&S Auction will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. A&S Auction reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.
7. The auctioneer shall advance the bidding at his own discretion. A&S Auction may
withdraw any item before or during the auction. Should a tie or a dispute arise between two bidders, the auctioneer may, at his discretion, reopen the bidding until the property is sold. The record of the auction made by A&S Auction shall be conclusive.
8. When the auctioneer says “sold” Bidder assumes full responsibility for the merchandise. Everything MUST be paid for in full at the conclusion of the auction. Payment shall be made in by VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Unless exempted by law, the purchaser shall pay any and all applicable taxes. Bidder agrees to indemnify A&S Auction against any claim if sales tax is not collected on Bidder’s purchases. Bidder agrees to not stop payment on any check paid to A&S Auction. Bidder further agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a chargeback on his/her credit card.
9. Packing and shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and may be quoted before shipping. All items will be insured for the purchase price. Our first priority is to deliver your new purchase in excellent condition. Any merchandise not removed by bidder may be resold at the next auction or disposed of in any other way A&S Auction deems to be suitable.
10. A&S Auction may refuse a buyer’s number to anyone for any reason. Bidder agrees to provide any identification A&S Auction may request including but not limited to: drivers license, photocopies of credit cards, Social Security card or Passport. Bidder agrees to comply with any stated additional terms or conditions associated with particular items.
11. We want you to be happy with your purchases. If you have questions about the merchandise the time to ask questions is well in advance of the live auction. No returns are allowed. Thank you for your patronage.
