1969 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 427/390

This 1969 Corvette coupe was sold new in December 1968 at Bartons Chevrolet in Yorba Linda CA and remained with the original owner in southern California for 40 years. A well cared for and serviced car this Corvette has not been modified from its original build configuration. A well-optioned car it features the original matching-numbers factory-installed 427/390hp engine backed by the original matching-numbers 4-speed manual transmission. It?s also optioned with 3:36 ratio posi-traction power steering power brakes power windows tilt and telescoping steering tinted class head restraints AM/FM radio side louver trim P02 Deluxe turbine wheel covers and red stripe tires. In 2018 a complete cosmetic restoration was completed including a first-time overall refinish in the original color of Monza Red after removal of the original paint. A partial new interior was installed where needed and all exterior trim was replaced. All-new body weatherstipping was installed along with a new windshield. Two of the original P02 wheel covers were restored and two were replaced with NOS pieces. New reproduction red stripe tires were installed and the original spare tire still resides in the tub. The California chassis and suspension was cleaned and painted and stainless-steel brakes were installed. A recently obtained NCRS Shipping Data Report is included.
