1968 VOLKSWAGEN BUS

This bus was restored and finished in its original Volkswagen Turkis and Pearlweiss two-tone color combination. KAO Autostyling was contracted to build six VW busses for the new RL boutique hotel chain. This bus has a fresh professionally rebuilt 1600cc 4-cylinder engine and a fresh Freeway Flyer 4-speed manual transmission all-new brakes and suspension all-new seals and trim two-tone original wheels and whitewall tires. The entire undercarriage has been restored and looks as nice as the rest of the bus. The original passenger seating has been removed and replaced with a custom limousine-style wrap-around seat upholstered in original Volkswagen green plaid to match the rest of the bus.
