THIS IS ANOTHER ODD OLD STANLEY WOOD PLANE; THIS ONE IS A NUMBER 248 WEATHER STRIP PLOW PLANE. THE PLANE IS "AS FOUND" AND NEEDS CLEANING, BUT RETAINS MUCH OF THE JAPANNED FINISH. IT COME WITH CUTTERS IN THE PLANE (SEE PHOTO). WITH LIGHT CLEANING THIS IS AN ATTRACTIVE OLD PLANE. IT COMES RIGHT FROM AN OLD WOOD WORKING SHOP IN RURAL NEBRASKA
