Coin grading was is and always will be a matter of opinion. It is the bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, and value of the coin or lot. We grade using ANA guidelines and will always attempt to describe toning, scratches, cleaning or other problems we see. Property is open to thorough public inspection. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, value or any other determinative factor. Weaver Coin Auction may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Weaver Coin Auction be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. ABSOLUTELY NO COIN RETURNS ON THE BASIS OF GRADE.
Items are sold "AS IS", "WHERE IS" with no guarantees of any kind except for the authenticity of US coins. We will accept returns on counterfeit coins (which we NEVER intend to sell) or if we made an error in denomination description. Buyer must contact us within 5 days of receipt of coin to request return as a counterfeit. On receipt of coin we will verify identity & make necessary refund. Any coin removed from the original packaging or holder is considered sold & may not be returned.
Weaver Coin Auction is providing Internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to the Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Weaver Coin Auction or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Weaver Coin Auction will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Weaver Coin Auction reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.
Neither Weaver Coin Auction nor the consignor is responsible or liable for the accuracy of any printed or verbal descriptions. The auctioneer has the sole right to settle any and all disputed bids and decide whether or not to re-offer a lot. The record of the auctioneer will be taken as final in the event of any dispute. Weaver Coin Auction reserves the right to withdraw any lot prior to the auction for any reason. Weaver Coin Auction is not resposible for any accidents at the auction or as a result of the auction. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject an opening bid that, in his opinion, is not commensurate with the value of the lot. Lots may carry a reserve-the confidential minimum price set by the consignor below which the lot will not sell. Should a tie or a dispute arise between two bidders, the auctioneer may, at his discretion, reopent the bidding until the property is sold. All announcements made on the day of the sale take precedence over printed manner.
