Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the auction or preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Edmonds Mercantile & Auction shall endeavor to describe in detail each item and any pertinent information about it. Edmonds Mercantile & Auction will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Our preferred shipper is UPS Ground service, and we will pack items that can reasonably be shipped by such method for a handling fee of $3.00, plus $1.00 for each additional item included in the same package. Upon request of the Buyer, we will ship by Priority Mail. All shipping charges will be invoiced at cost (including insurance) plus the applicable handling fee.
In the case of any item deemed by Auctioneer, in his sole discretion, to require professional packing, or unsuitable for shipment by above methods, arrangements for such shipment must be made by Buyer at his sole cost and expense, and we will make every effort to cooperate with Buyer's shipper. All pickups by Buyer's shipper must be by appointment at (206) 542-4460.
