Terms for firearm auctions are as follows: Do Not Bid on firearms or ammunition unless you can legally own them. We will offer free transfers and NICS checks for local buyers however they will have to drive to our shop in Louisville to do the transfers. For those being shipped, your local FFL will do the NICS check. If an item is purchased by an individual that can not legally possess the item due to Federal, State, or municipality regulations, payment in full is still required & we will accept the individual as a consigner for the item to be resold at a later date in one of our upcoming auctions. In this case you will at no time take possession of the item. You are required to be aware of all laws governing your ability to purchase them prior to bidding. • Everything must be paid for in full immediately following the sale and prior to the removal of any items. Online bidders are required to pay within 24 hours regardless of when you intend to pick your items up. Payment is required under these terms regardless of when you intend to pick your items up. • We accept cash, good local check with bank letter and proper ID, Visa, MasterCard or Discover also with proper ID. • To bid you must have a bidder number. When you register & show proof of proper ID you will receive a bidder number. • Everything sold today is sold “as is where is” with no warranties expressed, written, or implied. For Firearms Only - In the event that a new or used firearm has a manufacturer’s warranty, you as the buyer must deal directly with the manufacturer. • We will be charging a buyer’s premium of 10% on all onsite purchases and 16% for Internet Bidders. Example of an onsite bidders’ purchase- If you win an item for $100 the buyer’s premium added will be $10 for a total of $110 before sales tax. • Transfers will be done by a licensed FFL dealer. The price of shipping guns to online bidders will be determined after the sale and will be based upon the weight and zip code of the buyer. • According to the State of Kentucky’s Revenue Cabinet, sales tax must be collected at today’s sale. We will accept current resale certificates on the purchase of equipment. For gun purchasers, we will not honor any resale certificates other than those presented by a licensed FFL. Buying firearms with the sole intent to resell is unlawful without an FFL. • All Federal, State, and local firearms laws will apply to today’s sale. • All firearms sold must be transferred into the buyer’s name. Each buyer must complete in full, ATF form 4473. Once the form is completed and the buyer presents a paid receipt, we will call the ATF for the instant check also known as the NICS check. Once approved, we will allow the buyer to take possession of the firearm. In the event that the NICS check system puts a hold on the transfer, the buyer will have to wait up to 3 business days and then pick them up at our office if approved. Holds are normally rare but be aware just in case one happens and realize that we have no control over it. • Long Guns may be transferred to out of state residents however handguns cannot and must be shipped to an FFL that is local to the buyer. To ship to another FFL we will need a signed file copy of their license. • Today’s event features live internet bidding through Proxibid.com. You may notice that we have one dedicated Ring man whose sole responsibility is to receive internet bids. At times he may be receiving multiple bids from separate internet bidders simultaneously. If in the future you can’t attend our auction, you can still bid live online from almost anywhere as long as you have internet access. If in the unlikely event a mistake is made recording a bid, AFTER the auction is over we will play back the recording for you. Should the recording reveal a mistake, we will make the appropriate adjustments either in your favor or ours. • Do your research prior to bidding, know what you are bidding on before you bid. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject the bidding of any person whose conduct, actions, or adverse comments he feels is not in the best interest of the seller. • In the event that there appears to be confusion as to a tied bid or which lot is currently being auctioned, the auctioneer under his sole discretion may reopen bids to those bidders involved or he may reopen bidding to all bidders.
