Item Details
This poster was commissioned by the French Government and the Railways to promote travel to the Basque area of France. A great attraction for the area had been the native dancing as seen in the photographic image of the poster. It is from around 1950. It is in excellent condition. -size: 24 1/2 x 38 3/4 inches. It will be shipped rolled.

We have requested that Proxibid NOT DISCLOSE any maximum/ceiling bids to us. The only bids that we can see are the price any lot is currently at, NOT the maximum/ceiling bid placed on any one lot.

All purchases must be paid for in full before items are removed from premises. Payments are due within 10 days after the auction. Rights & Responsibilities: The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. The auctioneer alone has the right to reopen the bidding of an item if deemed necessary due to a dispute. If there is a tie bid between the floor and Internet or absentee bid, the floor takes bid precedence. Paige Auction and its representatives reserve the right to remove those attendees who impede the previews and/or the auction. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the auctioneer's hammer. The buyer will then assume all risk and full responsibility of the lot purchased once ownership has changed. No lot may be transferred to another buyer.
