Confederate General Officers and Officers of the General Staff Droop Wing Eagle Button - Confederate local - Dug from the Appomattox campaign from Sayer's Creek to Appomattox C.H. (April 6-9, 1865). No backmark. 21mm, 2 pc Plain Field, W/O stars, 3 arrows in Left Talon of Eagle. Traces of Gold gilt still present on front and back of Button (Albert's - CS26A)

Paying for items:
- All accounts are due to be settled at end of auction
- Visa and MasterCard accepted (only credit cards)
- Credit cards are subject to pre approval
- Credit Card will be charged once for total of purchase price, buyer's premium and appropriate taxes. If BC Auction does shipping, credit card will be charged again for shipping costs to include packaging supplies, mailing costs and a $10 handling fee. If BC Auction does not do shipping, credit card will be charged by a local packaging store and shipped through Fedex ground Insured to cover costs.
- Credit Card charge backs will not be accepted
- Virginia residents will be charged Virginia Sales tax
- If there is a need for debt collection, the purchaser agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred by the auction company in the collection of funds.
- All legal disputes will be processed and heard in Franklin County, Virginia
Shipping:
- BC Auction will determine whether items are shipped directly from auction house or given to professional packaging company.(see section titled "Paying for items" for shipping costs)
- For items deemed too fragile or miss sized for shipping from auction house, a local packaging company firm will be used & shipped through Fedex.
- For furniture and other large items, two shipping services are available for pre auction quotes:

o Keith Deliveries (Keith Bradshaw - Antique Moving Specialist - 1-828-432-7510
- If bidder feels that cost of shipping an item will not be acceptable, BC Auction asks that a pre-shipping estimate be obtained, or bidder determines not to bid on item
- Items must be removed from the Auction House within 10 days of the auction. After 10 days, the item will become property of the BC Auction Gallery and will be sold to cover storage costs
- All items will be shipped to the buyer's address as shown as primary address on internet log in - items will not be shipped to a different "shipping"address

- It is Bidders responsibility to determine condition, age, authenticity, value or other determining factor- Bidder is the sole judge of value
- BC Auction staff is available prior to Auction day to answer any questions about items in catalog. There will also be the opportunity to come to auction house to examine items prior to auction day.
- BC Auction does not represent itself or its staff as experts on any items sold and will only represent each item to the best of its ability
- All sales are final
Internet Bidding:
-Burnt Chimney Auction provides on-line bidding as a service to bidders.
- Bidders acknowledge and understand that internet service may or may not function correctly on day of auction and BC Auction does not accept any responsibility for outages or malfunctions that may occur with on-line bidding services
- While BC Auction will put forth every good effort in preparing the catalog for the auction, it reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog any item
- All announcements made at the Live Auction take precedence over any and all written, verbal or electronic statements.

Firearms:
- There are two categories of firearms. Guns manufactured prior to 1899 are considered antiques and do not require FFL authorization for shipping. Any gun manufactured after 1899 is considered a modern gun and requires FFL authorization for shipping.
- All "modern" guns must be sent to a FFL Dealer. All guns must be signed for at delivery. In order for Burnt Chimney Auction to ship your firearms purchase, you must supply us with a copy of the FFL License for the dealer receiving the shipment. This information can be mailed or faxed to the Auction House (540-721-5766) - Please call before sending a fax to be sure we are able to receive it.
- No firearms can be shipped to California
