Terms Of Sale
All public, collectors, and dealers are invited to bid. All items are sold AS-IS without warranty or guarantee.
Our auctioneers move very quickly and do not linger on an item once bidding has ceased. It is not advised to wait for the 'Once, Twice' warnings to appear. There is an inherent latency in the online bidding process. Although this delay is minimal, the one to two seconds it takes to receive a bid online and pass it to the auctioneer can make the difference. Once an item is announced 'SOLD', it is final. We will correct the sale price online in order to accurately reflect the actual price.
Vehicle Titles (except as noted) will be completed and mailed via certified mail to the registered buyers address within 10 days of the sale. Please reply via email to the invoice with exact information to be placed on the title. (Buyer's name / address or Dealer Assignment Information).
Vehicles sold without title will be given a signed Bill of Sale indicating purchase.
Firearms capable of firing modern ammunition will be required to ship to a licensed FFL dealer. $15 administrative fee will apply to all firearms purchases regardless of license requirement.
Ammunition must be shipped via UPS Ground, and will require an adult signature on delivery.
Glenworth will describe the items for sale before and during the auction on the internet, in other advertising, and via auctioneer announcements. These are opinions and observations (many times with information provided by consignors), and Glenworth makes no representations of the accuracy or completeness of these descriptions. It is the bidders responsibility to determine that an item is genuine, its condition, age, value, or any other determinate factor. All photos unless noted are of actual items being offered for sale. In the event of a discrepancy between the item description and photographs, the photographs take precedence. Buyer's may preview items on the day of sale beginning no less than 2 hours prior to sale.
Any announcements made day of sale take precedence over any previous announcement, printed, or digital advertising.
If a flaw or unknown condition that significantly and negatively affects the items value is discovered at sale time, we will not recognize prebids on that item. This is very rare, and we feel it best to protect the integrity of the sale. However, if a flaw is noted in the online description, then prebids will be acknowledged and accepted at sale time.
In the event of a tie or disputed bid, the auctioneer's decision is final.
No returns are accepted for any reason. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved through good faith effort, buyer agrees to submit to binding and final arbitration pursuant to the laws of Webster County, MO. No party shall be entitiled to attorney fees or costs. Glenworth's liability in all cases shall be limited to purchase price and buyer's premiums paid.
