PERFECTLY MATCHED PAIR OF DARK SATURATED PURPLE AMETHYST MINED FROM AFRICA. THESE GEMSTONES ARE 100% NATURAL AND HAVE NOT BEEN TREATED OR ENHANCED IN ANY WAY. EACH GEMSTONE MEASURES 9X7 MM AND THE PAIR HAVE A COMBINED WEIGHT OF 3.51 CARATS. AMETHYST IS A BEAUTIFUL NATURAL FORM OF PURPLE QUARTZ WHICH HAS BEEN MINED AND CHERISHED BY MAN FOR TENS OF THOUSANDS OF YEARS. SPECIMENS WITH DARK SATURATED COLOR ARE MORE RARE THAN THEIR LIGHTER COUNTERPARTS AND SOUGHT AFTER BY GEMOLOGISTS AND JEWELERS ALIKE.
