NATURAL AND UNTREATED FACETED PEAR CUT ARIZONA ANT HILL PERIDOT. VIVID BRIGHT GREEN COLOR AND FLAWLESS EYE CLEAN CLARITY. VERY STRONG BRILLIANCE AND LUSTER. MEASURES 8X5 MM WITH A WEIGHT OF 0.93 CARATS. ANT HILL PERIDOT ARE AN EXTREMELY RARE FORM OF PERIDOT WHICH IS MINED BY INDEPENDANT PROSPECTORS IN ARIZONA. THE ROUGH CRYSTALS ARE FOUND ATOP ANT HILL MOUNDS AND ARE CARRIED TO THE EARTHS SURFACE BY ANTS BULDING LARGE COLONIES. SINCE THE CRYSTALS MUST BE SMALL ENOUGH TO BE MOVED BY INSECTS GEMSTONES OVER 0.25 CARATS ARE EXTREMELY RARE. ARIZONA ANT HILL PERIDOT IS KNOWN FOR BEING THE HIGHEST QUALITY AND MOST DESIRABLE PERIDOT IN THE WORLD.
