This lot is an assortment of 115 different first day covers in an original album that holds 100 covers with 15 additional loose covers. The covers are from 1945 through 1959, with most being from the United States and a few from the United Nations. There are several different ones relating to World War II and some about stamp collecting. There is even one for the first helicopter flight for air mail! You will receive the album with 15 loose covers for your winning bid!

Rights & Responsibilities: The auctioneer will determine the highest bidder. The auctioneer alone has the right to reopen the bidding of an item if deemed necessary due to a dispute. If there is a tie bid between the floor and Internet or absentee bid, the floor takes bid precedence. Paige Auction and its representatives reserve the right to remove those attendees who impede the previews and/or the auction. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the highest bidder at the fall of the auctioneer's hammer. The buyer will then assume all risk and full responsibility of the lot purchased once ownership has changed. No lot may be transferred to another buyer.
