THIS IS A GREAT OLD "CARRIAGE STYLE" CLOCK MADE IN GERMANY. THE CLOCK WINDS UP AND HAS ITS KEY. WE DID WIND AND IT WORKED WHEN WE TRIED. THE CLOCK IS VERY CLEAN AND SHOWS QUITE WELL. IT MEASURES ABOUT 6 INCHES TALL. THE PLATING; FACE; AND TRIM ARE VERY NICE. THE BOTTOM IS WOOD---UNDER THE BASE. SEE PHOTO'S FOR DETAIL
