A 1965 Holden HD Station Wagon Chassis: M.29484 The HD Series was released by Holden in February 1965 succeeding the Holden EH and preceding the quite similar looking HR which appeared in April 1966. As well as being offered as a four door sedan the HD was also available as a five door station wagon. This amazingly original 1965 HD station wagon is in incredible authentic condition and has had just one previous owner from new. It is a remarkably preserved car featuring many exciting details no longer found on less well preserved examples. This vehicle has been featured in Survivor Car Australia magazine issue number 4 satisfying the demanding criteria for inclusion of original exterior paintwork, original factory interior, original engine, original wheels and of course original comprehensive documentation. This superlative survivor satisfies all of the above and more and as the saying goes, "They are only original once." Purchased on the 7th July 1965 by Mrs E.L.Seedsman of Mt Waverley for 1,472.12 pounds this Holden had the following extras:- Seat belts lap and sash; Centurion tyres, hand brake warning light, high note horn, P/R Radio, heater/demister, mud flaps, wheel trims, hood ornament, screen clean windshield. It will come to its new owner with the original owner manual; GMH driving instruction blue card; RACV motor vehicle policy 168679; NASCO accessory brochure; Fairdeal emergency service card; Holden sales brochure; Reader's Digest advert Feb 1966; Holden HR parts catalogue and shop manual.
