dating: 18th Century, provenance: Germany, Smooth, two-stage, 14.5 mm cal. barrel, octagonal at the first part, richly engraved with sun, Kabbalistic symbols and floral motifs, round at the second part, with a wide ring at the girdle, and brass foresight; tang marked "ME FECIT BURG"; lock converted to percussion, engraved with floral motifs and provided with a peculiar safety lock; wooden full stock, slightly sculpted with foliage, gilt brass mounts, decorated with floral motifs, the counter-plate with snakes and palmettes, the butt-plate with monster head; replaced ramrod with antique tip., , dimensions: length 42.5 cm.
