If you are picking items up locally you can pay locally. Alternate forms of payment are acceptable including Cash or Certified Funds. Danbury mint stadiums, Exclusive McFarland figurines. Jerseys, pennants, lithographs and posters. Factory card sets, Football rookie cards of Raymond Berry, Jim Brown and other stars of the 1950's. Pennants and Programs from All Star Games including Baseball and Hockey. Vintage Baltimore Colt and Orioles memorabilia and autographs including Unitas, Lenny Moore, Ripken, Palmer and Brooks. This collection is massive and has something for everyone. About the Collector: Dr. Bob Schweitzer was a lifelong devotee of sports. Bob served as Chair of the UD Athletic Department’s Professional Sports Counseling Panel and on the Athletic Department’s NCAA Compliance Committee. Dr. Schweitzer refereed lacrosse for over 30 years, as a member of the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Official’s Association, and as chief assigner for the state of Delaware high school men’s lacrosse. He coached baseball and softball for his children’s teams, and was a dedicated supporter of University of Delaware athletics. As an avid sports collector he was best known for his dedication and support of the University of Delaware students and student athletes. He played an important role in recruiting athletes like Joe Flacco to the UD Sports Program. Bob’s association with sports went far beyond the college level and he attended hundreds of MLB games mostly with the Orioles and Phillies. Allen and Marshall is proud to be chosen as the auction company of choice to market and sell such a prolific collection. The items in this Auction all came from the Estate of Dr. Schweitzer. Most of the Autographed items were from Fanfest Events, All Star Games, Training Camps Etc...and hence don't have COA's as they we not bought from Retail Establishments or through Auctions. _________________________________________________________________________ THIS WILL BE A LIVE AND PREBID AUCTION EVENT.
