Item Details
Shipping Costs: UK-£21, US:£45, Europe:£40. Far East:£60. Darick Robertson has illustrated hundreds of comics in his twenty-plus years in the industry. His body of work ranges from science fiction characters of his own creation to headlining on renowned classic characters from Marvel and DC Comics. Darick is best known as the co-creator and illustrator of the biting satires TRANSMETROPOLITAN and THE BOYS. This artwork is a characteristically dark moment from Darick's internationally-acclaimed collaboration with Garth Ennis, THE BOYS, from issue 4, featuring antihero Butcher closing in on the self-harming super-heroine Popclaw. Ink on comic art board. The final published version is also shown here for comparison. Since this contribution was a last-minute gift it is in transit from the USA at time of auction and there will be short delay before despatch.
