Gun registration is handled by Cordier Auctions & Appraisals. Modern handgun purchasers must be Pennsylvania residents at least 21 years of age and must have a government issued photo id (driver’s license). Out of state residents must have an FFL or a licensed dealer in their state to receive UPS shipments of handguns. Modern rifle and shotgun purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and be eligible to purchase firearms. C&R lots will convey to C&R FFL holders per Federal regulations. Buyers are responsible for compliance with the laws of the state in which they reside. Applicable fees for non-licensed Pennsylvania residents to be paid at the time of check-out include a $2.00 PICS fee and a $3.00 per gun Pennsylvania State surcharge fee. Invoices will be sent at the close of the auction noting purchase price of all lots won, buyer’s premium and any applicable taxes and fees. To establish a tax free sale, a copy of a valid reseller’s permit or license must be provided. Any purchaser claiming an exemption who is unable to provide proof will be required to pay the tax and seek a refund from the state of Pennsylvania. Generally all items shipped out of state are sales tax free sales. Payment to be made in five (5) days from invoice date via credit card, debit, cash, checks, money orders, cashier checks or wire transfers. There will be a 3% discount for payment with cash, checks, debit card and money orders. Checks are held for ten (10) business days. Cordier Auctions provides shipping for firearms (except NRR firearms). The cost is: long guns: $50 for the first long gun; $25 for each additional long gun won. Handguns: $65 for first handgun; $35 for each additional handgun won. Shipping for all non-firearm items and NRR firearms is the responsibility of the buyer – Cordier Auctions will assist the buyer in arranging shipping.
