DESIGN: Percussion operated black powder revolver with 6-shot cylinder. 8" round barrel. Built in the second year of production. Four screw frame.
MATERIAL/FINISH COMPOSITION: Blued barrel assembly and cylinder. Case hardened frame, hammer, and lever. Smooth walnut grip panels.
FEATURES: Brass blade front sight. Rear sight is a V-notch groove on the tip of the hammer. Knurled spur hammer. Brass trigger guard and front grip strap. Blued rear grip strap. Texas Navy scene on round cylinder. Four screw frame. Serial number matches on frame, trigger guard, barrel assembly, cylinder, wedge pin, and bottom of grip frame. Top of barrel stamped "-ADDRESS COL. SAM COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA". Comes with wood hinged red felt lined display box with a Colt double cavity bullet mold, round balls, cleaning rod and brush combo, decorated brass powder flask, and a partially filled brass tin of UMC No. 3 Nitro Primers.
CONDITION: Very good. Little of the original finish remains on blued components. Patchy old embedded pitting on metal surfaces. Case colors are faded. Brass components show light nicks and scratches. Light gouges, scrapes and scratches to grip panels. Single action operates well. Modest surface wear to display box. Spotty discoloration, pitting, and tooling marks to bullet mold.

Invoices will be sent at close of auction noting purchase price of all lots won, buyer's premium and any applicable taxes and fees. To establish a tax free sale, a copy of a valid reseller's permit or license must be provided. Any purchaser claiming an exemption who is unable to provide proof will be required to pay the tax and seek a refund from the state of Pennsylvania. Generally all items shipped out of state are sales tax free sales. Buyers are responsible for compliance with the laws of the state in which they reside.
Payment to be made in five (5) days from invoice date via credit card, debit, cash, checks, money orders, cashier checks or wire transfers. There will be a 3% discount for payment with cash, checks, debit card and money orders. Checks are held for ten (10) business days. Cordier Auctions will assist the buyer in arranging shipping through one of the listed shippers. NOTE: Items to be picked up or shipped within one week of the auction date, after which storage fees in the amount of $5 per item per day will apply. International purchases exceeding $1,000 require a wire transfer of funds. $50 fee to be applied to total. Shipping is subject to any restrictions of the purchaser’s country.

Modern rifle and shotgun purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and be eligible to purchase firearms. C&R lots will convey to C&R FFL holders per Federal regulations. Buyers are responsible for compliance with the laws of the state in which they reside.
