The winning bidder agrees to pay a buyers premium of 31% on the hammer price.
1. Simon Parrs auctions ltd has endeavored to accurately describe all items being sold. All items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. There are no warranties or representations of merchant-ability of fitness, nor of any other kind, express or implied. All items are available for your examination prior to bidding by appointment only. Your bidding will signify that you have examined the items as fully as desired, or that you have chosen not to examine them. Simon Parrs auctions ltd shall have no responsibility for any error or omission. The absence of a condition statement, does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear, imperfections or aging. Any condition statement written or verbal is given as a courtesy to the client, and is only an opinion. It should not be treated as a statement of fact. Written and oral descriptions are statement of opinion and should in no way be construed as a guarantee of any kind as to age, condition, materials or any other feature of items being sold. Simon Parrs auctions ltd goal is to provide prospective bidders with accurate and detailed information. Simon Parrs auctions ltd recommends prospective bidders examine all items in which they have an interest. If you require absolute certainty in all areas of authenticity and the results of your evaultion leave uncertainty in your mind, it is recommended you do not bid on the item in question. Estimates provided are an opinion as to the price that a willing buyer would pay for the property at auction. These estimates are neither a representation nor a prediction of the actual selling price that will be realised at auction. All sales are final. No statement written or oral made by the auctioneer shall be deemed a warranty or assumption of liability by Simon Parrs auctions ltd or by any seller represented by Simon Parrs auctions ltd. Simon Parrs auctions ltd acts merely as an agent. The contract of sale is between the cosigner and buyer. Simon Parrs auctions ltd holds no responsibility as to authenticity or condition of items.
2. The auctioneer will be the final judge as to who is the succesful bidder. In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer shall at his discretion decide whether or not to reopen the bidding. If an item is withdrawn from auction it will be offered again at the auctioneers discretion. Title to all merchandise shall pass to the succesful bidder at the fall of the auctioneers hammer. The purchaser shall assume full responsibility for the lot purchased once title has passed. All lots in the catalogue are subject to a reserve, of which the amount is confidental between Simon Parrs auctions ltd and the consigner. We reserve the right to bid up to the amount of reserve by placing successive or consecutive bids for a lot, or bid in response to other bidders.
3. Invoices will be sent to the winning bidder within 5 days of the close of the auction. And payment is due within 10 days of the invoice being sent. Payment is by Bank transfer only, and can be made in some cases via card through a Western union agent. If paying via Western union you will be given a MTCN (please supply this information for us to identify your payment). We insist of a reference of invoice number or name to be given to your bank of where the payment is coming from to make it easier for us to identify the payment. We also insist full payment must be made including covering all fees charged by bank and the amount on the invoice reaching us in full.
For invoices below 1000 Great British pounds there is a bank fee on our end to be covered by the winning bidder of 10 Great British pounds.
For invoices above 1001 Great British pounds there is a bank fee on our end to be covered by the winning bidder of 30 Great British pounds.
A buyers premium of 31 percent is added to the hammer price. All auctions will be held in Great British pounds.
SHIPPING.
A sihipping quote is provided by Simon Parrs auctions ltd on invoices and automatically includes tracking, which can be tracked on your end to your address. Insurance isn't included and can be added at an extra cost by contacting us. Please note glass in frames isn't covered by insurance and can be replaced for perspex if need be.
4. In bidding on any lot offered, the bidder indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions. Title of each lot passes when the auctioneer or screen indicates sold. The bidder is responsible for knowing on which item he/she is bidding. If unsure the bidder should inquire or not bid. When becoming the winning bidder at auction, you have affected a contract and will be expected to pay for items in which you were evidenced to be the successful bidder.
