Estimate - Range12000 - 15000
Year1981
The Golf GTI was unveiled in Frankfurt in September 1975. This sportive disguised as an innocent family would become a real phenomenon of society. Its bodywork - only three doors until the autumn 1981 - is ItalDesign and distinguishes itself from the series Golf by its red facings, its extensions of black plastic wings and its front spoiler. It receives an in-line 4-cylinder engine with a Bosch K-Jetronic injection, developing 110 hp 6,100 rpm. It is a four-speed transmission, which exceeds 180 km / h. Its acclrations and recoveries, due to its light (it only weighs 846 kg) associated with excellent handling, make it a small bomb of pleasure. The GTI underwent its first alterations in 1979 with new, more enveloping bumpers and a five-speed gearbox. The Golf first series was produced 6,780,000 units, all models combined, until 1984. The GTI 1.6 offers here date of June 17, 1981 and displays 155,509 km on the meter. It is in good general condition with a varnished black paint redone a few years ago and the lateral bands of gray color, in conformity with the GTI of time, are new. The plastic body fittings are in very good condition and the vehicle is equipped with a manual sunroof and a rear window wiper. The upholstery in black cloth gray stripes and the carpet in black color are in good original condition. The vehicle is equipped with its four-spoke steering wheel and its original rims with tires in good condition. The powertrain has been revised and is in good working order. The vehicle is sold with FIA passport. ------------------ La Golf GTI fut dvoile Francfort en septembre 1975. Cette sportive dguise en familial anodine allait devenir un vritable phnomne de socit.
