All purchases totaling under $1,000 WILL BE charged to the credit card used to register to bid and no cash discount allowed unless picked up by Tues. Nov. 14, 4 PM.
If you inform us by email (info@zettauction.com) by noon on Mon. Nov. 13 of your intent to pay by money order or check provided payment is rec'd by us prior to noon Nov. 15, 2017 you may pay with a 2% discount. Wire transfers must be initiated by noon Nov. 14 (Buyer pays wire transfer fees)
There will be a $30 charge for any returned checks or credit card declines or re-submissions.

Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the live auction or preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. . Due to the great volume of firearms in this auction it is impossible for us to fire live rounds thru every firearm to determine proper operation, we therefore rely on information provided by consignors on operation and/or condition that may not be able to be easily viewed. We make no warranty as to complete correct operation of any firearm.

Gun grading is a subjective process, this guide is developed using a combination of NRA, Blue Book and The Standard Catalog, The “Percentage” System and current standard industry practice. Everyone has their own opinion, this guide will hopefully help us to communicate conditions to you clearly. NEW - Unused, same condition as Factory. 100%
USED But in Like New Condition - May have been slightly used, but shows no wear, perfect condition. Modern guns = 99-100%
EXCELLENT - May show slight use, no easily noticeable mars or defects, minimal bluing wear, mainly slight at edges and muzzle, few to no scratches. Modern Guns = 90-99%; Old Guns = 80-99%
VERY GOOD PLUS - Shows slight wear, only minor defects or dings and scratches. Nice looking bluing but worn at edges and muzzle.
Modern Guns = 85-90%; Old Guns 70-80%
VERY GOOD - Some wear on finish and operating surfaces, no corrosion, maybe some light freckling. Could have minor dents and scratches.
Modern Guns = 70-85%; Old Guns = 60-70%.
GOOD - Finish may be worn from use or carry, wearing on operating surfaces. Could have some pitting and light corrosion/freckling. Dings & scratches, but they should not interfere with function.
Modern Guns = 50-70%, Old Guns = 30-60%.
FAIR - Well worn finish or possibly none left at all. May have corrosion and pitting.
Modern Guns = 20-50%, Old Guns = 1-30%
POOR - Worn out or rusty, sold mainly for parts or repair.

Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Zettlemoyer Auction Co., LLC will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 12 hours before the auction begins. The highest bidder shall be the buyer and if a dispute arises between two or more recognized bidders, the auctioneer shall decide the buyer or immediately put the item up for sale again. The auctioneer's decision is final. If there is a tie bid between the floor and the internet the floor bid shall take precedence and the internet bidder shall have the option to raise his bid to the next increment.
All items must be removed from the auction premises by within 10 business days, unless other arrangements are made prior to bidding. After that time ownership of any remaining items reverts to the seller and he shall have the right to resell or dispose of them at his discretion. Any property remaining on the premises is there at the buyer's risk and any loss or damage shall be born by the buyer. Any items remaining will be resold at a later auction with the original buyer paying original purchase price, buyer's premium and 25% resale commission.
Any announcements made before or during the auction take precedence over any previously distributed information.
Small items & non-firearms will be charged a reasonable packing charge - Auctioneer does not make a profit on packing-shipping costs.
The record of sale kept by the auctioneer and clerk will be taken as absolute and final in all disputes.
