Ford Motor Company and the McQueen estate are donating VIN 001 of the new limited-edition 2019 Mustang BULLITT for a special charity auction benefitting Boys Republic Steve McQueen?s own school. The BULLITT features a V8 engine that packs more than 475hp and 420 ft/lbs of torque to push the car to 163 mph max speed. Saluting the 1968 movie car the Dark Highland Green exterior paint is complimented by subtle chrome accents a 12 all-digital LCD instrument cluster and Recaro black leather seats (optional) with unique green accent stitching. VIN 001 will be built in mid-2018 with all available options. 100% of the hammer price will go to Boys Republic a private nonprofit nonsectarian school and treatment community for troubled youngsters.
