This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is an original unrestored survivor with 30878 original miles (mileage not indicated on the title). With the introduction of the Cobra Jet 428 engine in mid-1968 Ford had a genuine muscle car in their stable with the Mustang. 1969 saw the introduction of a new model to help promote the new Cobra Jet engine outside of a Shelby the Mach 1. Base engines started with their other new engine the small-block 351 next was the venerable 390 engine and then the top-of-the-line 428 Cobra Jet now with Ram Air in the form of a Shaker hood scoop. With special striping a blacked-out hood and the new-for-1969 styling it was an aggressive car with performance to back up that image. This 1969 Mustang Mach 1 has had its engine and transmission restored and some normal-wear items have been changed but it otherwise original. It was sold new at Levisay Ford Motor Sales Inc. in Grayson KY on February 19 1969. The Silver Jade paint is complemented by the blacked-out theme of the Mach 1. Further setting apart the Silver Jade shade of paint are the black deluxe knit vinyl high-back bucket seats with center console. Powering this beautiful Mach 1 is its original matching-numbers 428ci Cobra Jet R-code Ram Air engine with matching-numbers 4-speed manual transmission sending the power to a matching-numbers 3.50 Traction-Lok differential. It been time-capsuled since new keeping the original paint gleaming while being well-maintained as a car that has been driven and enjoyed. The car was formally owned by Bob Perkins head Gold Card judge of the Mustang Club of America and Shelby American Automobile Club for Shelby and Mustang originality. The car is also fully documented with an Elite Marti Report. Additionally the car comes with a plethora of original paperwork and has its original Ford Motor Co. warranty card original invoice original Build Sheet and copies of titles since new. It also comes with all books records and receipts with photos.
