THIS IS AN EARLY WOODEN BRACE WITH TWO PARTS MARKED WITH MAKERS. THE BRACE IS MISSING SOME OF THE BRASS SIDE DECORATIVE PARTS, BUT IT WOULD BE RESTORED AND USED. IT MEASURES 14 INCHES LONG OVERALL. THE BIT ATTACHMENT PART HAS A MARK ON THE ROUND KNOB..."JAMES BEE" WITH AN EAGLE. THE TOP OF THE ROUND HAND HOLD HAS A BUTTON MARKED "HENRY BROWN" WITH AN EAGLE. REALLY NOT SURE OF THE MARKS, THE BRACE IS OLD MADE OF WOOD WITH BRASS HARDWARE. CHECK OUR PHOTO'S FOR MORE DETAIL. THIS WAS FOUND IN AN OLD WOODWORKING SHOP IN RURAL NEBRASKA
