1955 CHEVROLET CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE

This two-owner 1955 Corvette was purchased new by its original owners at AD Anderson Chevrolet in Baltimore. It retains its complete matching-numbers drivetrain along with its original body and paint. It?s powered by a 265ci V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission. Repairs done in early 2016 include rebuilding the engine and transmission lining the fuel tank rebuilding the rest of the fuel system replacing the entire brake system and converting the front brakes to power disc replacing the convertible top and refreshing the interior with new seat springs upholstery and carpeting. Many of the original parts such as the radiator and brake parts are included with the sale. This Corvette was shown only once at the Cruisin? Ocean City 2016 where it won the Outstanding Show Award. Many original documents come with the car including the original 1955 title owner?s manual first 1000-mile service recommendations and correspondence between the original owner and General Motors.
