SN 944377, standard Winchester markings with oval proof marks, later applied beaded front sight with a Marbles sporter rear adj. sight, later applied checkering on the stock and forearm, peep sight installed on the tang, cresent steel butt plate,full length magazine tube,overall fair condition with heavy bluing fading, surface wear and handling marks on the stock and forearm. R/CR

All lots are sold ‘AS IS’ and should be examined prior to bidding. The Auctioneers reserve the right to make verbal corrections and provide additional information from the block at the time of sale. All sales are final.
Conestoga Guns LLC and Conestoga Auction Company a division of Hess Auction Group. makes no warranties or representations whatsoever concerning the fitness for use, safety to fire, or to store, or reliability, of any firearm, ammunition or parts of components thereof, whether antique or modern. Any use of any such lot is entirely at the user's risk. Conestoga auction and any division of Hess Auction Group expressly disclaims any liability whatsoever for accident, injury or damage resulting to any person from the use or storage of any such lot.
All items are sold subject to Federal and State Regulations. Any lot number ending with an “R” or “CR” must be registered. If you purchase a lot with 'CR', and you have a Curio and Relics license, you do not need to register this lot. Gun registration is handled by Conestoga Auction Company. Modern handgun purchasers must be Pennsylvania residents at least 21 years of age and must have photo ID (driver’s license). Out of state residents must have an FFL or a licensed dealer in their state to receive UPS shipment on handguns. Modern rifle and shotgun purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and be eligible to purchase firearms.
There is a $2.00 State Fee for PICS (PA Instant Check System) approval for each individual purchasing a handgun and/or longarm. There is also a $3.00 Pa. State Computer Processing Fee for each registered longarm or handgun that is purchased, unless the buyer has an "FFL". There will also be a $5.00 charge for a mandatory trigger lock required for each modern handgun purchased by non- FFL holders. These charges will be passed on to the purchaser in addition to the purchase price and the buyer's premium. All purchasers must register for a buyer's number and provide satisfactory identification.
A Buyer's Premium is added to each item sold at the Auction. 6% Sales Tax will be charged except to persons with a current Dealer's Sales Tax Exemption on file with the Auction. On-line buyers will be charged an additional on-line platform fee. Upon fall of the hammer or said sold, the title and responsibility for each item or lot passes to the purchaser. In case of a disputed bid, the Auctioneer, will determine the successful bidder or re-offer and resell the article in dispute. The Auctioneer reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by personal check until the check has cleared the bank, if the Auctioneer deems such action necessary to protect his interest.
