Original '32 Ford frame rails, 1940 Ford steering wheel with 1940 Ford steering column. Powered by a 355ci Chevrolet small-block V8 engine with an Edelbrock manifold and carburetor, Offenhauser valve covers and ceramic-coated Sanderson headers. Power fed through a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission backed by a 9-inch Ford rear end on parallel leaf springs with posi-traction. Brakes are early Lincoln with Killmont finned aluminum backing plates. Wheels are 1940 Ford-style steelies, the original dropped front I-beam axle has been chromed with painted insert split wishbones, posi-leaf front spring and Vega steering box. Classic black with red interior, Stewart Warner winged gauges and Mercedes dark gray square-weave carpet. The windshield has been chopped two-inches and raked back, and other features include Sid Chavers "Bop Top" 1950 Pontiac taillights with blue dots and a 1932 California license plate. This car has low miles on it since construction and was part of a private collection and rarely shown, although the car was featured in Street Rodder magazine.
