Accepted forms of payment are cash, wire, cashiers check, money order or personal check with photo identification. Credit cards will be accepted for purchases under $500. Credit card payments will be charged an additional 3% handling fee on the final invoice. All parties must register with a current photo ID. Unless known by the Auction Co., buyers must present a bank letter of credit when registering or prior to sale day. Responsibility for purchase passes when the auctioneer says “sold”. It will be understood and agreed that each item is sold as is, where is, with NO warranty written or implied. It is also understood that if buyer fails to provide payment for a given item at close of auction, Mo-Kan Livestock Auction, Inc. will take appropriate legal steps to recover its costs or to enforce the contract of sale with all costs associated with this process to be paid by the bidder. Titles will be held by Mo-Kan Livestock, Inc. until the check for the titled piece has cleared the bank. Titles will then be mailed by United States Postal Service to the address provided by the Buyer upon registration. Note: Buyer’s purchasing through proxibid.com will incur a 5% buyer’s premium, which will be added to the final bid price to arrive at the total contract purchase price to be paid by the buyer, in addition to the 3 percent handling fee if a credit card is used. Timely Payment: The successful bidder must pay for the purchase of all lots immediately following the conclusion of the auction.
