There will be sales tax collected on all items not “used for the production of food, grains or meat” on the farm. If you do not qualify for use on the farm, then according to Missouri law, sales tax will be collected on that item. Items listed as paying tax on include but not limited to: lawn mowers, construction equipment, ATV’s & UTV’s, lumber, trees, tools etc.
