A debit against your card will be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley. Consult your tax advisor for deductibility status of any item you purchase. You will be charged for your purchases, plus the Buyer’s Premium and any applicable taxes. Debit cards may show a hold on funds for a short period of time. It is the buyer’s responsibility to assure adequate credit available to the seller for the purchases made. Nothing will be charged to your card until a purchase is made. Each transaction necessary to collect insufficient funds will have a $25 fee imposed on the account. FOR PICKUPS: If you wish to pick up items you have purchased, please make arrangements one business day prior to pickup. You may do so by contacting 563/323-8006. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check all contents of the package before removing it. The seller or the auction company will not be responsible for damaged or missing pieces once the package is in the possession of the bidder; i.e. “lost tickets, etc”. SHIPPING: Purchased items will be shipped through the United States Postal Service or United Postal Service. A charge of $5 per lot purchased will be charged to the buyer’s credit card as will the cost of insurance covering the amount of the purchase. LIVE INTERNET BIDDING: Walnut Creek Auction conducts its auctions in a brisk fashion and we move quickly so we encourage that you bid quickly. You will be notified within 48 hours of the auction of your purchases via e-mail addresses required of you prior to your successful registration for the auction. Registration for this auction must be complete by noon CST on Saturday, August 15. REGISTRATION: All bidders must provide their name, address, phone number and e-mail address so we may be of full service to you. None of these details will be released to any other party by the auction firm or seller. UNPAID BALANCES: Should there occur an unpaid balance for some reason, the buyer agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and collection fees associated with the costs of collecting these balances. A charge of 2% of the purchase price will be added to unpaid balances on the first of each month following the auction. Any legal debt collection or dispute will be heard in Scott County, Iowa. LIVE ONLINE BIDDING: The auctioneer, and only the auctioneer, acting as sales agent for the seller, has the sole right to advance the bidding and may reject a nominal advance, should it be, in his opinion, injurious to the auction. The auctioneer is the sole and final authority in all bidding disputes and will name the final bidder as the purchaser. Once the statement “sold” is made, a legal contract has been formed between buyer and seller, and upon payment, the purchased lot is owned by the purchaser. By bidding on any item, the bidder acknowledges and shows acceptance of the terms of this auction. All sales are final. PREBIDDING: All items will be available to bid on beginning July 17. The online pre-bidding will occur through the live auction held on August 15 at 4 pm (CST). Prebids are accepted at www.proxibid.com. Look for Walnut Creek Auction Company at that URL. All prebids are subject to continuing online bidding during this live event as well as live auction bidding. The highest bid, regardless of source, will be declared by the auctioneer during the live auction event. The auctioneer solely has the discretion to determine the winning bid and will announce the winning bid at the conclusion of the live auction of each lot on August 15. Again, to bid online, you must create an account through www.proxibid.com and it must be approved by Walnut Creek Auction Company. RESERVE ITEMS: There are a small number of Dream Vacation items with reserve (lowest possible dollar) prices on them. Walnut Creek Auction Company reserves the right to “non-sell” these items during the live auction should this reserve price not be met.
