SERIAL NUMBER: 122162 DESIGN: This Smith & Wesson Model No. 1, 3rd Issue has a 3-3/16" barrel with 1855, 1859 and 1860. The S&W Model 1's were the first revolvers to use bored through cylinders employing the Rollin White patent. Fluted 7-shot cylinder chambered for .22 shorts. Round barrel. Bird's head style grips. This example is all blue and has much original finish remaining. MATERIAL/FINISH: Blued steel. Factory rosewood grips. CONDITION: Good. Action works, but cylinder stop fails to lock cylinder and needs attention. Bore is dark. All property is sold "as is", and neither the auctioneer nor any consignor makes any warranties or representation of any kind or nature with respect to the property, and in no event shall they be responsible for the correctness, nor deemed to have made any representation or warranty, or description, genuineness, authorship, attribution, provenance, period, culture, source, origin, or condition of the property and no statement made at the sale, or in the bill of sale, or invoice or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty of representation or an assumption of liability.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Prospective bidders should inspect the property before bidding to determine its condition, size, and whether or not it has been repaired or restored. You are strongly encouraged to ask questions and/or request additional photos prior to bidding.
In the case of a disputed bid, our sale record shall have sole discretion in determining the purchaser and our auctioneers may also, at their election, withdraw the lot or re-offer the lot for sale. If any dispute arises after the sale, our sale record is conclusive. Although in our discretion we will execute absentee bids or online bids as a convenience to clients, we are not responsible for any errors or omissions in connection therewith.

PICK-UP:
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at location in Harrisburg, PA, after invoice is paid in full. Location address to be provided to winning bidders on invoice.
For local buyers transferring firearms at Cordier Auctions: Applicable fees for non-licensed Pennsylvania residents to be paid at the time of check-out include a $2.00 PICS fee and a $3.00 per gun Pennsylvania State surcharge fee.
SCHEDULING A PICK UP:
Appointment times will be available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday following the auction. Instructions to schedule appointment will be on invoice. After payment by due date, visit https://cordierauction.com/customer-pickup to schedule your appointment. 24 hour notice required and appointments are first come first serve. You will receive a confirmation email when your appointment is confirmed.
CURBSIDE NO CONTACT PICK UP:
There will not be anyone to assist you at pick up. It is your responsibility to bring help, equipment and packing materials. All buyers are required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing. Please be prompt for your appointment. If you are early, be prepared to wait. If you are more than 15 minutes late you may be required to reschedule.
NO SHOW FEE: If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be required to pay a $10 no show fee.
IMPORTANT NOTES: Your items must be paid in full by the payment due date and / or prior to pick up.
Items must be picked up or shipped within one week of the auction date.
STORAGE: If you are unable to remove your purchases within one week following the auction, they will be considered abandoned and become property of Cordier Auctions.
SHIPPING:
Shipping
Cordier Auctions provides shipping for firearms and ammunition (except NRR firearms). Long guns: $50 for first long gun; $25 for each additional long gun won. Handguns: $65 for first handgun; $35 for each additional handgun won. Ammunition: $40 per lot.
For all non-gun and non-ammo lots, shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
No in house packing or shipping available.

Cordier Auctions may assist in coordinating shipping through our third-party shipper Postal Connections. Please contact them directly for pre-auction shipping quotes. If you would like your purchase released to our preferred shipper please email accounting@cordierauction.com with your permission to release. They will pick up your item(s) on the next business day and contact you directly with the shipping charge. Shipping is subject to any restrictions of the purchaser's country. Bidders are responsible for confirming their import laws and any restrictions do not release a purchaser from their responsibility for payment of an invoice.
TAX: All purchases are subject to 6% Pennsylvania state sales tax unless the purchaser possesses a Pennsylvania sales tax exemption number and has an executed exemption form on file. Exemption numbers from other states are accepted if presented with a business card or letterhead.
All items are sold subject to applicable Federal and State Regulations. All modern guns must be registered. Gun registration is handled by Cordier Auctions & Appraisals. Modern handgun purchasers must be Pennsylvania residents at least 21 years of age and must have a government issued photo id (driver's license). Out of state residents must have an FFL or a licensed dealer in their state to receive UPS shipments of handguns. Modern rifle and shotgun purchasers must be at least 18 years of age and be eligible to purchase firearms. C&R lots will convey to C&R FFL holders per Federal regulations. Buyers are responsible for compliance with the laws of the state in which they reside.
