Item Details
The first Mauser-pattern rifle produced in Yugoslavia was the M24. Its predecessor, the FN Model 1924 had been produced for the Yugoslav army by FN Herstal until the Ministry and FN signed a contract on the purchase of the license for production of rifles 7.9 mm M 24. Nearly all M24's were produced either before or during World War II, at the Kragujevac Arsenal plant. The M24 and Model 1924 are nearly identical. The final additions to the M24 family were the M24/47 rifle. These were produced by reworking existing prewar Serbian Model 24 Mausers and then refurbished with new parts at the Zastava Arms (formally Kragujevac Arsenal) plant, which was at that time under the control of the postwar communist government. The "47" of the M-24/47 indicated the beginning of the rebuild program of 1947. The rebuild program lasted into the early 1950s alongside new production of M48 rifles. M24 series rifles were used by the Royal Yugoslav Army and by nearly all sides during World War II in Yugoslavia. Features include a 24" barrel, v-notch adjustable flip-up rear sight, hooded ramp front sight, Yugoslavia Crest receiver stamp, and sling rings. - It is the buyers responsibility to have their dealer (Sporting Goods Store, Pawn Shop or Local Gun Dealer) email us a copy of their license - auction@willsullivanauction.com
- Guns may be picked up to avoid shipping costs. All Federal & State Gun Laws/ holding periods apply. The procedure for picking up a gun is the same as buying a gun in a gun store.
- SHIPPING RATES - 1 long gun = $50, 1 handgun = $30, $10 for each additional gun, regardless if it is a long gun or handgun.
- SHIPPING EXAMPLES - 2 long guns = $60, 2 handguns = $40, 1 long gun & 1 handgun = $60, 3 long guns = $70, 3 handguns = $50 - Items other than firearms will have a shipping cost listed and the end of the description
- WE WAIT ONE WEEK AFTER THE AUCTION BEFORE WE START PACKING/ SHIPPING. Items will be shipped out sometime between Monday, OCTOBER 4th & MONDAY, OCTOBER 18th.
- Each successful buyer will receive a tracking number from UPS when their package(s) have shipped.
- There is a $15 per gun Paperwork Fee. This applies to guns being shipped and still applies if the buyer is an FFL.
- Each successful buyer will receive a invoice within 24 hours after the conclusion of the auction. This will be a "Final Invoice" which will include shipping and/ or any other fees that may apply.
- If you do not see your invoice in your Inbox, please check your Spam. If you have not received an invoice by Monday, September 27th, please let us know.
- WE DO NOT CHARGE SALES TAX
