Item Details
The Winchester Model 52 was a bolt-action .22-caliber target rifle made from 1920 to 1980. For many years it was the premier smallbore match rifle in the United States, if not the world. Known as the "King of the .22s," the Model 52 has been called by Field & Stream one of "the 50 best guns ever made" and by Winchester historian Herbert Houze "perfection in design." The Model 52 went through many alterations over its sixty years. The Model 52B ("B" serial number suffix), was introduced in 1937 and featured an "Improved" Speed Lock: The original left-mounted wing safety was replaced with a more convenient sliding-plate safety on the right side of the receiver. The 52B design also raised the left receiver wall abreast the magazine higher than the right, whereas on earlier versions both sides were flush with the loading platform. The Speed Lock mechanism was also improved, including the addition of an adjustable trigger-return spring and a sprung sear-disengagement plunger. This Model 52B was made in 1937 and features a walnut stock with beavertail forearm and flat knob, adjustable aluminum buttpad (stock has been extended for LOP), 28" heavy target barrel, (2) rear sight mounts, Redfield "OLYMPIC" front target sight (without crosshair insert), oversized trigger boot, lower sling rail, side scope mount, 5-round detachable box magazine and 14.5" LOP. This gun features a nice early re-blue and is in good condition with various light wear, has an excellent sharp/ clean bore and is in perfect working order. Paul Menke Collection

- It is the buyers responsibility to have their dealer (Sporting Goods Store, Pawn Shop or Local Gun Dealer) email us a copy of their license - auction@willsullivanauction.com
- Guns may be picked up to avoid shipping costs. All Federal & State Gun Laws/ holding periods apply. The procedure for picking up a gun is the same as buying a gun in a gun store.
- SHIPPING RATES - 1 long gun = $50, 1 handgun = $30, $10 for each additional gun, regardless if it is a long gun or handgun.
- SHIPPING EXAMPLES - 2 long guns = $60, 2 handguns = $40, 1 long gun & 1 handgun = $60, 3 long guns = $70, 3 handguns = $50 - Items other than firearms will have a shipping cost listed and the end of the description
- WE WAIT ONE WEEK AFTER THE AUCTION BEFORE WE START PACKING/ SHIPPING. Items will be shipped out sometime between Monday, OCTOBER 4th & MONDAY, OCTOBER 18th.
- Each successful buyer will receive a tracking number from UPS when their package(s) have shipped.
- There is a $15 per gun Paperwork Fee. This applies to guns being shipped and still applies if the buyer is an FFL.
- Each successful buyer will receive a invoice within 24 hours after the conclusion of the auction. This will be a "Final Invoice" which will include shipping and/ or any other fees that may apply.
- If you do not see your invoice in your Inbox, please check your Spam. If you have not received an invoice by Monday, September 27th, please let us know.
