Additionally, on-line purchasers are responsible for all shipping and transport charges if they chose not to pick their item up in person. * There is no charge for Registration, but Capitol Auction requires a valid driver's license, and agreement to all Terms & Conditions. * On the fall of the Auctioneer's hammer, title to the offered lot or article passes to the highest bidder who assumes full risk and responsibility thereof. * All purchases are to be paid for by VISA, MasterCard or Discover, immediately after each Auction. The card on file with Proxibid, used to register to bid will be charged unless we are notified in advance. On purchases exceeding $1,000.00, we may ask for payment via cash or wire transfer to our bank. Titled motor vehicles must be paid for with cash, local bank cashier check or wire transfer. Capitol Auction reserves the option to hold purchases until authorization is obtained on credit cards. No lot may be transferred to another buyer. * By registering to bid in our event you are hereby granting permission for us to notify you of future events conducted by the Oregon State Treasury. In the event you do not wish to be on their email or regular mail list, please notify us and we will promptly remove your name. We will not sell your information to anyone. *Internet- Electronic Disclosure: Oregon State Treasury nor Capitol Auction cannot be held responsible for any interruption in service, errors, and/or omissions, caused by any means and does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or error free service by users of the Proxibid bidding platform. Bidder acknowledges that auction is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. Oregon State Treasury and/or Capitol Auction, at its sole discretion, may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, or reschedule the closing date of an auction and resell any items/lots that were affected by any malfunction. The decisions of Oregon State Treasury and/or Capitol Auction are final. * Should Capitol Auction be prevented by fire, theft, or any reason whatsoever from delivery of any property to the purchaser, our liability shall be limited to the sum paid by the purchaser. * All lots in the Catalog may be subject to a reserve (a confidential minimum price below which the lot will not ordinarily be sold). We, as the Agent for Consignor, may place bids during the auction when the highest outstanding bid at any time during the sale is below the reserve which may have been established on the lot being offered. Consignors are not allowed to bid on their own property. * Any lot may be withdrawn prior to it being sold at auction. Capitol Auction reserves the right to reject any bid or any bidder. *Local Pickup Available, by appointment only, 11am - 4pm on Saturday, November 27. Additionally, on Monday, November 29 and Tuesday, November 30. If you live within 50 miles, we will assume you will pick up in person, unless otherwise notified. Please call 503-990-6976 to set a time. *Note: We process payment immediately following our auction using Proxibid's Auction Payment Network, which allows us to charge the credit card you used to register for the event. It is your responsibility to ensure there is adequate credit on your card at the time you make your purchase. In the event we are unable to charge the card you have on file with Proxibid, we reserve the right to charge a $25 processing fee in addition to full payment. * We will begin shipping items the following week. Most items will be shipped U.S.P.S. Priority Mail Flat Rate. Capitol Auction will charge a flat rate fee of $5 per box for handling and packaging. These charges will be made to the card you have on file with Proxibid. Note: In recent months all shipping costs have increased including those charged by the United States Postal Service. *If you have any questions, please contact Capitol Auction at 503-990-6976. If your item is being shipped, the same card will be used to pay shipping and handling fees unless you notify us otherwise. *Items- lots unsold or sold without payment, shall be returned to the Oregon State Treasury. Lots that are sold with payment and are deemed abandoned by Capital Auction, shall have the right to donate, discard or resell the lot to recoup any costs associated with the original sale.
