S# 73918, mfg. 1896 | 24-3/8" Octagonal Heavy Target Barrel | Rear Folding Peep sight with hooded adjustable front sight | Marked "PAT. OCT. 7th 79" Under leaver on tang | These are known to be some of the most accurate .22 target rifles ever produced |||| Condition: Excellent. 50% CCH Finish on Reeciver with colors still visible. 98% Blue High Gloss Folding Peep Sight. Metal butt plate has a faded, grey/brown CCH Finish. Barrel shows around 75% Blue finish with high edge wear. Wood is near mint condition with the slightest bit of handling marks. Forend is in mint condition with beautiful black tip inlay. Mechanically functions smoothly. Bore looks great, with nice rifling.
