Ron Bauers passed away in January, 2009. He taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in accounting and information systems at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, as well as being a musician and guitarist.
Ron has played with the Omaha Symphony, the Moody Blues and Deep Purple. He has also been rumored to own Buddy Holley's backup Guitar.
His estate auction includes 13 guitars, a banjo, a Sitar, a Yamaha DX7 plus A/V equipment, amplifiers, studio monitors, computers and equipment, tools, DVDs and an extensive vinyl record collection.
We have additionally added many more items from another estate including a 92 Jaguar XJS
Auctioneer's Notes: I was contacted this morning by a roommate of Ron Bauers when they were at Creighton University. The Rameriz Guitar was ordered from Spain, and arrived stateside in 1968. The wood used in this guitar is 50 years aged prior to use. It cost Ron $1000.00 in 1968. He couldn’t wait for it to get here, and it took forever.
Also, in 1982 or 1983, Paul Williams had just written the song evergreen for Barbra Streisand. When it was released, he toured the country. Upon arrival in Omaha, The guitarist for Williams became ill. Ron was contacted through the musicians union as he could sight read music. He performed in the Orpheum venue for that Paul Williams show.

All merchandise must be paid in full prior to leaving the auction site. Vehicles will be held until the check clears unless previous arrangements have been made with the auction company.
