"Likely for the first time for this shotgun to hit the open market, Here is a rare opportunity to own a great piece of Winchester History. The Winchester Model 42 made its debut in 1933 along with John Olin's Project of the Three-inch .410 Gauge shotshell, These ""Mini Model 12's"" otherwise known as the Winchester Model 42 was a must have by many collectors including Dwight D. Eisenhower. With only 164,800 Model 42's having been made between 1933-1963 and 9,398 being made in this first year of 1933, This shotgun was likely made within the first few days or weeks of production. This Model 42 Features, Front bead sight, Matted receiver, Blued finish, Serrated index finger safety, Takedown feed tube, Plain wooden pistol grip stock and grooved forend, Correct checkered hard plastic butt plate, Matching serial numbers on receiver and barrel lug, Barrel length, 26"" chambered for 3"" with Full choke bore. SN:46. Condition: Fine. Excellent mirror bore and strong working action, All metal retains 80% original finish with light areas of finish loss at carry points and around edges, Barrel shows few light specks of aged pitting ahead of receiver on left side and few faint specks of surface rust and light handling marks to sides of receiver, Stock and forend are solid free of any cracks or breaks with light handling marks and little areas of finish wear from use, Butt plate is solid free of cracks and breaks and shows little wear overall. Due to lack of records no factory letter is available from Winchester.

1. All items are offered and sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. All item descriptions are based upon
visual inspection only. All measurements are approximate and are used for general descriptive purposes
only. Bidders are solely responsible for determining the condition and authenticity of items. Any
statements, or lack thereof, made in regard to accuracy of descriptions, typographical errors, condition,
size, authenticity, age, restoration, reproductions, quality, historic relevance, or otherwise, are all for
catalog information only and do not represent warranties, guarantees, or representations, of any kind.
Physical inspection is highly encouraged by all bidders.
2. By registering for the auction and placing a bid, you (the bidder) agree to all the terms & conditions and
signify that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally
examine them.
3. When registering to bid online, PA Auction Center requires a valid credit card on. Once credit card
information has been provided PA Auction Center reserves the sole right to automatically charge any and
all winning total(s) to the credit card on file if the registered bidder is a successful high bidder. If the credit
card on file is declined then a partial amount will be charged to the card and considered a deposit on the
purchase.
4. The buyer?s premium for this auction is 18% for all online bidders, which will be reduced 3% for all
invoices paid with PA check, cash or a wire transfer (with a $15.00 fee) within 48 hours of the auction
otherwise the card on file will be charged. Pennsylvania sales tax applies to all lots sold unless the buyer is
tax exempt.
5. Invoices will be emailed to you within 48 hours of the auction. If you don?t receive one, please check
your spam first and then call our office if you still don?t have one.
6. Auction date, Preview dates & Pickup dates can be found under the ?Auction Information? tab above.
Failure to pick up the items on one of the pickup dates listed may result in a storage fee?s being accessed
and/or the items considered abandoned and resold without a refund of payment/deposit.
7. PA Auction Center reserves the right to reject any bid and/or bidder at our sole discretion.
8. PA Auction Center can pack and ship your purchases at your expense which includes time & material to
pack in addition to the actual costs of the label. Simply request shipping by replying to the email with the
invoice.
9. Buyers requiring shipping whose invoice is $1000 or more may need to transfer funds via wire transfer
at the discretion of PA Auction Center.
10. Declined credit cards can result in a buyer being banned from participating in future auctions. Non-paying and/or fraudulent bidder names may be shared with other auction companies.
11. This is a public auction and not a retail setting. All sales are final. No returns or chargebacks are
accepted.
12. Pa Auction Center is not responsible for, and shall not be held liable for any errors, omissions of, or
failure to carry out an absentee bid, regardless of how the bid was submitted. This also includes any
technical failures that may arise during the auction that affect absentee bids, including but not limited to,
internet connections, telephones, computers, and networks.
13. We are a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) and all firearms are sold in accordance with Federal & State
Laws.
14. Firearms with an (R) at the beginning of the title will need a NICS background check (which can be
done at our location at no charge) or will need to be shipped to a licensed FFL within the US.
15. Firearms with an (C&R) at the beginning of the title follow the same rules mentioned in section 13 or
can be transferred with a Curio & Relic (C&R) licensee without a NICS check.
16. Firearms without an (R) or (C&R) at the beginning of the title can be transferred without a background
check or be shipped to your address unless a mistake has been made or your state laws prohibit the item.
New York residents must have any firearm including antique or muzzleloader shipped to a qualifying FFL
for transfer. New Jersey residents must have air guns of any sort shipped to a qualifying FFL for transfer.
17. If we are shipping a firearm for you, it will be your responsibility to have your FFL or C&R licensee
email or fax us a copy of their license prior to us shipping the firearm.
18. You must be 18 years of age to purchase a long gun and 21 to purchase a handgun.
19. No out of country shipping of ammo, weapons or powder
20. No ammo sales if you?re a resident of Washington D.C.
21. We will not ship any ammo to Alaska or Hawaii
22. If you live in California, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts or New York we will only ship ammo to an
FFL in your state. You will be responsible to find a licensed FFL in your state that is willing to facilitate this
transfer (please note they might charge for this) and have them email us a copy of their license prior to us
shipping. You are also responsible for knowing what ammo is legal in your state as all sales are final and
no refunds will be given if the ammo is determined to be illegal in your state.
23. If you live in NJ and are purchasing pistol ammo the same rules as section 22 apply.
24. We do not ship any powder or primers.
