Fixed assets are defined as any purchase that requires unbolting, cutting, jacking, lifting, dismantling, moving through the use of skids, timbers, and is structural in nature, with or without a foundation. If the asset is on wheels and is towable or can be lifted by means of a fork lift on to a trailer, without any of the above it is not considered a "fixed" asset. Buyer agrees that all damages monetary and non-monetary by buyer's failure to perform are collectable by HIPAS/UCLA.
Buyer agrees that scheduling dates for performance of buyers to remove purchase from HIPAS Property roest with the HIPAS Manager. Buyer will outline a Scope of Work (SOW Plan) for removal of his purchase prior to commencing removal and sign and date the plan providing an original to the HIPAS Manager for approval.
Bidder/buyer agree and understand that HIPAS will be without electricity and other typical amenities as fixed assets are removed from HIPAS. It is the buyer's responsibility to have incorporated in the SOW how the buyer will proceed for completion of his purchase removal.
Buyers will maintain their work area in a safe and "policed" manner everyday throughout the duration of the purchased item removal. No trash, construction material or waste will be left in the work area or perimeter area.
A final inspection and sign off by HIPAS/UCLA of the work area where the purchased item was dismantled or removed will be performed.
