Auction company will send out invoices after the conclusion of the auction. Please disregard any invoices generated from sources other than directly from Legacy Auction Services, LLC. Payment remitted based off any other invoice except auction company’s direct invoice, will not be honored nor considered legitimate in satisfying the terms of the sale. If you do not receive an invoice a few hours after the auction concludes, please check your spam or junk folder.
If you wish to claim a tax exemption, please notify us as such once you have received your invoice by returning the appropriate form completed to grant tax exemption. Once tax exemption is verified by Legacy Auction Services, LLC, an amended invoice will be sent out with taxes omitted from it. Texas Sales Tax is 6.75% and TERP Tax of 1.5% applies to those items possessing an off-road diesel engine of 50HP or greater. There will be no refunds granted for sales tax exemptions once payment has been remitted to the auction company. Therefore, tax exemptions will need to be made known prior to remittance of payments.
Payment is expected within 2 business days from the conclusion of the auction (Tuesday close of business). The preferred method of payment is cash or credit card.
We accept the following forms of payment: 1. Cash 2. Credit Cards (accepted on invoices totaling $2,500 or less; subject to all applicable fees and taxes) will incur a 4% fee 3. APPROVED LOCAL CHECK (with bank letter of guarantee – for those customers who do not have an established relationship with the auction company) 4. Wire Transfer
There is an 18% buyer’s premium added to all purchases in this timed auction.
In person payments of cash, credit card, and approved check will only be accepted on the 2 business days immediately following the auction (Monday and Tuesday).
IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED within 2 BUSINESS DAYS from the conclusion of the auction (Tuesday close of business), buyer will be reported for nonpayment and will be blocked from participating in any future auctions conducted by Legacy Auction Services, LLC as well as potential loss of bidding privileges altogether on the respective internet bidding platform.
