William Tell, the Younger - 1992. 3rd Edition. Edition of 750. The Swiss tale of William Tell's courage against the Austrian tyranny has been told and re-told over the years. At some point William Tell is required to shoot an apple from the top of his beloved son's head.Little William is dressed in ecru cotton leggings and an ecru blouse made of cotton netting imported from Switzerland. His olive green jerkin is topped with a mantle of brown leather. His apple perches atop the mantle hood. He wears soft kid shoes, laced up to the knees. William Tell, the Younger is all-porcelain, 14" tall.Excellent condition, original box, estimated price $ 350.00 (Lawton)

Bidders who bid from off site and are not present at the live auction or preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person.
