Terms Of Sale
Most lots have a reserve. Sale of each lot will be conditional upon meeting that reserve. A high bid does not equal a winning bid if the reserve is not met.
All sales are final & as-is.We will only provide refunds for the following situations: Broken in shipping or a grossly incorrect description (E.G. incorrectly identified/listed gun such as wrong caliber/model/manufacturer). We will not allow refunds for any other reasons, including disagreement over stated condition (E.G. good condition vs fair condition), unlisted flaws, stains, minor/cosmetic damage or appearing to operate properly in our care, but not functioning upon receipt. If your item has been damaged in shipping, you will need to provide pictures of the item and packaging. It is your responsibility to know the laws in your state; do not bid on an item that can not be shipped to your state. If an item is ineligible for shipping to your address, you must still pay for the item in full. If you win a firearm that is eligible to be owned in your state, but the magazines would violate that state law, then the firearm will be shipped to you and the magazines forfeited; low capacity magazines may be purchased from the auction house and shipped with your firearm if desired. All descriptions of items are based upon our observations at the time of listing. We do not disassemble or test items. We do not disassemble items to determine if numbers are matching. All observations are based on what is externally visible. Contact us with any questions or stop in to see the item before bidding. There will be no refunds.
A Note on Firearm Ratings used in this Auction:
Giving a firearm a specific rating means that the condition of the various parts laid out in that rating are the minimum conditions for that firearm. For example, if a firearm being graded on the antique scale is in Fine Condition due to having only 50% of its original finish remaining, its wood may be completely unmarred, even though the Fine Condition description states "minor marks in wood." Pictures of the firearms will give you the best idea of the condition of the firearm. If there is an internal problem that is not visible from the pictures, but it is readily apparent to someone handling the firearm (for example, the hammer on a revolver will not remain cocked when pulled to the rear), then it will be noted in the description. NRA condition ratings and additional descriptions are meant to assist the buyer in making an informed bid. They are solely the opinion of the auction house, and refunds will not be provided for disagreements over the condition rating.
Please note that while US law defines an antique firearm as any firearm manufactured in 1898 or before, for the purpose of our auctions we utilize the NRA Antique Firearm Condition Standards for any firearm that is not in current production or is not substantially similar to a firearm in current production.
