Terms Of Sale
Auction Terms:
All firearms that shoot modern ammunition MUST be shipped to your local FFL dealer. Please have your dealer fax a copy of his/her FFL license to the office of Four Seasons Gun Shop (812-333-8450) and include your name and paddle number on the sheet.
All sales of firearms or receivers with a serial number are subject to a $15.00 FFL transfer fee. Check with your receiving FFL dealer and work out all receiving agreements.
All firearms will be transferred through Four Seasons Gun Shop.
7% Indiana sales tax applies
We are not firearms experts. Please look carefully at the pictures and ask all questions prior to bidding. You are bidding on what you see in the photos. All sales are final upon being declared “Sold” by the Auctioneer.
Firearms and ammunition are specifically NOT warranted for shooting. Any used firearm should be inspected by a competent gunsmith for safety, function, and proper ammunition type before attempting to fire. Any description of mechanical function or condition does NOT mean the firearms has been inspected or Okayed for shooting. Ammunition of unknown origin should not be fired, and the ammunition in this sale is sold for salvage of components or as collectibles only.
On-Site buyers will be assessed a 10% buyer’s premium.
On-Line buyers will be assessed a 15% buyer’s premium.
All firearms laws will be followed. Bidders are responsible for knowing the laws in your area or state.
Visa and MasterCard are valid forms of payment. Payment is due immediately following auction. Credit card on file will be charged following auction unless prior arrangements are made with the auction company. Your credit card will be charged a second time to cover shipping costs. Your credit card receipt will show up as payment to “United Country Coffey”.
Buyer specifically waives the right to dispute or deny payment for any purchases made with credit card. Any dispute charge/fees plus $15.00 will be the buyer’s responsibility and will be charged to the buyer’s credit card.
NSF Funds- A fee for Non-sufficient Funds (NSF) checks per occurrence will be charged
United Country Coffey Realty & Auction has the right to terminate the auction at any reasonable time; withdrawal from sale any item; to sell at this auction items not listed; to group one of more lots into one or more selling lots or to subdivide into two lots or more selling lots. The auction company also reserves the right to sell all of the items listed in bulk.
United Country Coffey Realty & Auction assumes no liability for your purchases (if you buy an item, and you don’t know how to use it and get injured, we are not liable). The buyer assumes and does agree to indemnify and hold the Auction Company, Representative and/or seller harmless from any future claim that shall pertain to the fitness or use of that asset being purchased.
United Country Coffey Realty & Auction does not lend, lease, or borrow any equipment, nor deliver sold goods.
All bidders must register for bidder’s numbers with proper ID.
No consignor, seller, or agent for seller has that right to bid on their consigned goods.
Any employee of United Country Coffey Realty & Auction may bid at any auction if they so wish to purchase an item.
In default of payment of bills in full within the time announced for this auction the Auction Company in addition to all other remedies allowed by law, may retain all monies received as deposit or otherwise, as liquidated damages.
Purchases must be paid in full within 15 minutes of conclusion of the auction. Payment may be made by Visa or MasterCard with no extra fees. Buyer specifically waives the right to dispute or deny payment for any purchases made with credit card.
All sales are final. No Returns will be allowed, No Exceptions.
All sales are “As-Is Where-Is” no warrantees are expressed or implied.
All items become the sole responsibility of the purchaser when auctioneer confirms your number as successful bidder. Although the auction company will exhibit reasonable care to safeguard purchases until removed by purchaser, no refunds or adjustments will be allowed for any shortages. We are NOT responsible for stolen or lost goods.
All items must be removed from The Convention Center immediately after the auction.
Auctioneers have the right to refuse service or eject any person obstructing the auction process.
All information is believed to be accurate, but the auction company shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness of or defect in any lot, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloging or any imperfection not noted. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold “as is” and without recourse.
Any bid that is merely a nominal bid may be rejected by the Auction Company or the Auction Company may reject fractional advances, if in his judgment it may adversely affect the sale.
Absentee bids may be presented to the auction company in writing and must be accompanied by credit/debit card number, which will be verified for you maximum bid amount and applicable Buyer’s Premium prior to the sale. Said bids are subject to all terms and conditions of sale as listed herein or announced at the auction sale. All absentee bids will be held in confidence.
On-line buyers will be responsible for shipping and handling. Firearms will be shipped to an FFL dealer in your area, where additional transfer fee may be charged. Upon the purchase of a firearm that will be shipped to an FFL dealer a signed credit card receipt is required prior to shipment of firearm. Auction Company will email the credit card receipt to buyer and buyer must sign and return to auction company via mail, email or fax.
Full payment must be made day of auction by cash, MC/Visa or local check with proper ID. All out of town checks MUST have a current bank letter of credit.
Shipping insurance will be paid by Buyer on ALL items shipped.
Shipping charges
• Long guns: $35.00 each
• Hand guns shipped in same box:
• 1st firearm $25.00, 2nd firearm additional $15.00, 3 or more additional $10.00 for each firearm.
• Insurance for the entire value of the item (UPS rates are $2.00 per $100.00 of value).
• Shipping charge Examples:
• 1 long gun sale price $800.00= ($35.00 + $16.00 ins. = $51.00 shipping)
• 3 hand guns (same box) sale price $500.00 ea. Total sale price $1,500.00= ($25.00 + $15.00 + $10.00 +$30.00 ins. = $80.00 shipping)
• Accessories will be shipped in USPS Flat Rate boxes when allowed (see rate/insurance chart below). UPS when not allowed using UPS rates per location and weight of item.

Under no circumstances shall bidder have any kind of claim against Auction Company or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Auction Company will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. Auction Company reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.
