Payment
Please contact the auction company for payment. During the checkout process, sales tax will be automatically calculated based on various factors such as the state, city, and county jurisdiction requirements, shipping addresses, and the category of the purchased item. Additionally, a 15% online buyer's premium will be added to all sales conducted by Proxibid, along with any applicable sales tax.
To pay for the items awarded to you, you can use credit cards or cash at pickup. You will find a "Pay Now" button on your invoice, which can be accessed through the email sent to you or within your Proxibid account. The invoice will include the sales tax amount. If you are a tax-exempt bidder, you need to select "Tax Exempt" during checkout and submit your valid tax-exempt certificate via the provided email. Proxibid will then remove the sales tax from your invoice and send you an updated version (or reimburse you if you have already paid). This process usually takes 1-2 business days.
Once you receive your invoice from Proxibid, you have 24 hours to pay for your total purchases, which includes a 15% buyer's fee and any applicable sales tax. It is your responsibility to make the payment within this timeframe using the new payment system provided by Proxibid. In the event that payment is not made by the end of pickup day, Oliver's Auction will automatically charge the card on file with Proxibid.
To pay using the card on file or another card, use the "Checkout Now" feature in Proxibid. Oliver's Auction will be notified by Proxibid once the payment is completed. Please note that the bidder is responsible for any credit card processing fees charged by Proxibid or Liveauctioneers. If the name on the card is different from the name on the invoice, please let us know.
Please note that all items are sold as-is with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. We reserve the right to add or remove items before the sale. All sales are final.
If you intend to make a cash payment, please inform us before or by midnight on the night when the auction closes. You can do this by sending a text message to 864-367-5945 or an email to sold@oliversauction.com. In the message, please be sure to include your name. Once you have notified us, you can bring the cash for payment to the designated PICKUP location.
